The Rams chasing Burton goalkeeper Adam Legzdins

Paul Peschisolido has confirmed that Derby County have had interest in Burton Albion goalkeeper Adam Legzdins. The goalkeeper has also had interest from other clubs but Peschisolido says that Derby have shown significantly more interest than other clubs. However the former Rams striker isn't prepared to let Legzdins who won Burton's player of the year and fan's player of the year go for nothing and has stated "we have a value for Adam and until that valuation is met, he remains our player". Even if Paul Peschisolido did let the highly rated 24 year old goalkeeper go there could be trouble in getting him to leave the brewers as he recently stated that “I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t flattered by the interest, but I have no interest in leaving".
If Derby did manage to sign Legzdins then it would seem that he would come in as the Rams second choice leaving Bywater to find a new club and possibly Denney being the third choice.
Adam Legzdins

The Interview : "When a massive club like Derby come calling for one of your players, it is difficult not to let them go if they are interested," said Peschisolido.
"But we are running a business, we have a value for Adam and until that valuation is met, he remains our player.
"He has a year left to run on his contract and he is not someone we want to lose.
"There have been a few other snippets of interest in Adam but nothing as concrete as Derby's.
"We'd like him to stay as he was our most consistent performer this season and you never want to lose your best players.
"I am in contact with his agent to see if we can sort something out."
